First week
1.*Fundamental Aerial Yoga Poses:* Learn the basics of aerial yoga, including poses and sequences. These should form the foundation of your practice and teaching.
2. *Safety Techniques:* This is crucial for any aerial yoga practice. Understanding how to safely enter and exit poses, how to use the equipment properly, and how to spot and prevent potential injuries.
3. *Anatomy and Physiology:* Understanding the human body and how it moves and works can greatly enhance your teaching. This can include a focus on strength, flexibility, and balance.
4. *Sequencing:* Learn how to construct an effective aerial yoga class, from warm-up to cool-down.
5. *Practical Training:* Spend time practicing teaching, ideally with feedback from an experienced instructor. This can also involve observing others teaching.
6. *Breathwork and Meditation:* Aerial yoga is not just about physical fitness. Incorporate elements of mindfulness, breathwork, and meditation into your classes.
7. *Equipment and Maintenance:* Learn about the different types of equipment used in aerial yoga, their setup, and maintenance.
